BattleGrow Official Tournament Rulebook

These Rules and Regulations (“Rules” or “Tournament Rulebook”) govern all gameplay, conduct, player eligibility, competitive rules, penalties, and procedures for all BGMI tournaments conducted by BattleGrow (“we”, “our”, or “the platform”). All participants, including players, squad leaders, substitute players, and team managers (“you”, “team”, “player”) are required to strictly adhere to this Rulebook. Failure to comply may result in warnings, penalties, suspension, or disqualification.
1. Tournament Structure
Game Title:
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)
Format:
Online competition
Team Composition:
- Squad format (4 players)
- Optional 1 substitute allowed
- Solo or duo queue not permitted
2. Eligibility & Age Requirement
- Minimum age to participate: 16+
- Players aged 16–17 must have parental or guardian acknowledgement.
- Players must have a valid BGMI ID.
- Players must be residents of India.
Providing false identity or age information may result in immediate disqualification.
3. Registration Requirements
Teams must provide:
- Team Name
- Team Leader / IGL contact info
- BGMI player IDs of all members
- Main and substitute players
- Agreement to BattleGrow’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Anti-Cheat Policy.
4. Match Rules
- All matches will be played in the official BGMI game client.
- All teams must join the custom room in time.
- Delayed entry or no-show may result in point deduction or match forfeiture.
- Only registered players may participate — NO ID switching.
5. Maps & Mode
Match Mode:
Battle Royale — TPP / Squad
Map Pool:
May include:
- Erangel
- Miramar
- Sanhok
- Vikendi / Other maps if announced
Map schedule will be shared with teams prior to match time.
6. Scoring System
Points will be awarded based on:
- Placement ranking
- Number of eliminations (kills)
Example scoring (modifiable per tournament):
- 1st Place → 15 points
- 2nd Place → 12 points
- 3rd Place → 10 points
… and - 1 point per elimination
Final winners are determined by total cumulative points.
7. Device & Network Requirements
Players must ensure:
- Stable internet connection
- Legitimate in-game settings
- No network manipulation
- No device-based exploits
Allowed devices:
- Smartphones and tablets.
Emulators are strictly prohibited.
8. Player Conduct
- Players must maintain sportsmanship and respect.
- Toxicity, harassment, hate speech, or threats are prohibited.
- No intentional team killing.
- No collusion with other squads.
- No match-fixing or win-trading.
- No impersonation of other players.
Violations may lead to:
Warning → Point reduction → Match ban → Tournament ban.
9. Anti-Cheat & Fair Play
The following are strictly forbidden:
- Cheats / hacks of any nature
- Aimbots
- ESP / wall hacks
- Bullet tracking tools
- Macro-enabled devices
- Game file modification
- Rooted / Jailbroken device exploits
- Use of third-party scripts
- Emulator usage in a mobile-only event
If any player is suspected of cheating:
BattleGrow reserves the right to:
- request POV recording
- request device inspection
- review gameplay
- investigate kill-cam data
- revoke winnings
Cheaters will face instant disqualification.
10. Streaming & Media Rights
- BattleGrow may record, stream, broadcast or publish gameplay footage.
- Participants grant rights to use gameplay media for promotional or editorial purposes.
- Players may stream matches only if allowed by BattleGrow and if stream delay (min. 3–5 minutes) is used.
11. Technical Issues & Match Restarts
- If a player disconnects mid-match, the game will NOT be restarted.
- If the entire room is affected due to technical failure / server crash, rematch may be scheduled.
- Restart decisions are at the discretion of BattleGrow administrators.
12. Communication & Team Leadership
Each team must have:
- A designated In-Game Leader (IGL)
- A team representative for admin communication
All communication regarding matches will be made through:
- WhatsApp / Discord (if used)
- BattleGrow official notification channels
13. Dispute & Appeal Process
- Teams may raise disputes regarding unfair play or scoring.
- Appeals must be submitted within 30 minutes of match completion.
- BattleGrow Admin decision will be considered final.
14. Prizes & Payout
Prize distribution (if applicable):
- Will be disclosed prior to the tournament
- Winners must provide valid payment details
- Payment may take 7–30 working days
- Prizes may be withheld if anti-cheat violation is proven
15. Tournament Integrity
BattleGrow reserves the right to:
- Modify rules if necessary
- Disqualify suspicious teams
- Remove disruptive individuals
- Cancel or reschedule matches
- Request ID proof for verification
- Ensure fair play and competitive balance

BattleGrow is not affiliated with KRAFTON, Inc., or BGMI developers.
This is a third-party independent esports hosting platform.
17. Acceptance of Rules
By participating in any BattleGrow tournament, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood this rulebook.
- You agree to abide by all regulations.
- You accept admin decisions as final.
